Flow Rainwater Systems is an official sponsor of the Wimberley VFW Rodeo 2018, the 73rd VFW Rodeo.

The Wimberley VFW Rodeo is a Pro/Open event sanctioned by the Cowboys Professional Rodeo Assn. (CPRA), sponsored by Oldham-Cummings Post 6441, Veterans of Foreign Wars, in Wimberley, Texas. Proceeds are used to support Veterans and a variety of community activities and organizations. The Rodeo Producer is Bo Davis of Gonzales, Texas, and the stock contractor is the Cadillac Rodeo Company.

Gates open at 5:30. 1st Mutton Bustin’ at 7:00; Rodeo begins at 8 p.m.

Events include: bull riding, tie-down calf roping, bareback & saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping, women’s breakaway roping, and women’s barrel racing.

2nd Mutton Bustin’ event midway in Rodeo

2 calf scrambles nightly. One for ages 5-8 and another for ages 9-12

Free fireworks show nightly after the rodeo performance (weather permitting).

Common to each night of Rodeo

Famed bull-fighter, clown and barrel man Leon Coffee will be featured at each event

Mutton Bustin’ registration outside the VFW Hall at 6:00 p.m. The cost is $20 per ride; 60lb. max rider weight. Riders compete for the Ellen Allen Memorial trophy

Tickets At the Gate: Adults – $15; Children 12 & under $10.

Advance Ticket Sales: Adults-$12; Children 12 & under $7. May be purchased at the VFW Hall July 1st, 2nd, & 3rd from noon to 6 p.m. Cash, check, or major credit cards. On those days tickets may also be purchased by phone (512-847-6441). .Limited box seat tickets may be available ($25) on advance ticket purchase days.

General admission parking $5 per vehicle at the gate.

Food and other vendors on the grounds.
