SACRIFICIAL ANODES
Our sacrificial magnesium anodes significantly extend the life of your water tank by protecting the tank from corrosion. Made from magnesium, the anodes erode in place of the water tank, thereby protecting the steel and allowing the tank to last longer than other systems. Pioneer Water Tanks recommend your anodes be replaced every 10 years so you can enjoy the benefits of your tank for life.
6-INCH DIAMETER OVERFLOW
Pioneer Water Tanks provides a 6” diameter overflow downpipe, the largest overflow system on the market. The overflow size moves excess water away from the tank quickly to effectively reduce pressure on your tank and avoid costly damage to your tank components.
The Lakota Water Company designed and installed this rainwater system for a home in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. The system utilizes a 40,000-Gallon Pioneer Water Tank to safely store rainwater. The system provides clean water for the entire household through a wet conveyance system. The low-profile Pioneer Water Tank fits in well with the landscaping aesthetic and has landscaping around the base.

The Lakota Water Company provided this 51,785-Gallon Pioneer Water Tank for safe, BPA-free storage of rainwater. The client upgraded to the Mangrove® COLORBOND® Steel option to have a great look with the Texas Hill Country backdrop. This rainwater collection system utilizes a solar panel that powers the pump that distributes the water.

Rainwater will be collected from the newest Tito’s Handmade Vodka Distillery in Austin, Texas to be stored in a 20,904-Gallon Pioneer Water Tank. This project was designed and managed by Lakota Water Company for a sustainable water source for their employee gardens. The rainwater tank is anchored to a cement ring beam for durability. Rainwater is collected from the metal building roof and conveyed into the tank for later use.

The Lakota Water Company designed and installed this rainwater system for a home in Dripping Springs. The system collects rain from the home roof, and wet conveys it into the 29,093-Gallon Pioneer Water Tank. The rainwater tank sits on a clean sand pad. The rainwater system supplies clean drinking and domestic water for the entire household.
